For each convention I attend, I usually make custom badges for the people I’m going with, since the official con badges are usually not very appealing. These are the badges for ACen 2008. If anyone’s going that wants me to make a badge for them, drop me a line (and possibly some preferred artwork), and I’ll deliver it at the con.

UE in Toronto

Did some Urban Exploration with a great group of people in the heart of Toronto this weekend, and took a set of photos. I’ve posted a bunch of UE shots on Flickr.

My favourite images of the set, in and around the decaying Crystal Ballroom at the King Edward hotel.

Found this odd script scrawled across a support beam under a train station. It seemed to be a fairly disused utility tunnel, judging by the layer of dust covering the floor. I didn’t see anyone else, and the rattling thunder of the express lines was loud enough to drive me out before I took any further pictures.
