In episode 20 of Kanon (2006), Yuuichi talks to Ayu about his first love. At fifteen minutes into the episode he says
I’m not sure if she’s my first love or not, but I had a crush on an older girl.
Other than that, he recalls her face. We flashback.. Yes, harder, harder oba-chan…

Julian Beever has done some really nice sidewalk pavement artwork perspective drawings. Images are drawn as huge distorted projections on a flat plane, which, when observed from a particular angle, form a smooth 3D insertion into the city scene.
J, I know you’ve shrugged off working on an AMV, with citations of Time, and Perfectionism, and such. (I make similar statements, but might be projecting my feelings onto you. It’s difficult to psychoanalyze.) You also linked Real Otaku Heroes in a recent LJ post.
So, here’s the deal. You’re going to grab one of the [...]
Looks like I will be attending the Anime Central convention in Chicago again this year, May 11th and 13th, along with other contemporary ACen members, including J the Everattending, and hopefully _Quinn and Kitty as well. I suppose anyone that reads this is invited as well. We need to move quickly, though, if we want [...]
I started watching Kannazuki no Miko purely due to an anime music video that I stumbled upon, which took a pleasant look at the relationship between Chikane and Himeko. Still, over a thousand replies were made to the thread by crazy fanboys. Posted later was a list of planned extras for [...]
As I mentioned, the issue of machine naming became important recently. In particular, because a newcomer has decided to join us. A stately lady, her name is Kuramori.

UPDATE: This script is down permanently, as I’m no longer at the University of Windsor.
CJAM is a local radio station broadcasting on 91.5FM run out of the University of Windsor. They provide Mp3 Archives of their shows split at 60 minute intervals, which usually coincides with a show-change. Unfortunately, though this list of mp3s updates hourly, [...]
J and I are taking a trip this December to Toronto, attending to the melodious sounds of the Milton Choristers. Under the direction of Sonia van de Hoef, they are presenting their 38th season, Choral Diversions.
The show itself is entitled Carols and Culture, and the tickets have arrived in the mail as of today, along [...]
