I started watching Kannazuki no Miko purely due to an anime music video that I stumbled upon, which took a pleasant look at the relationship between Chikane and Himeko. I conferred with Rachel, who gave it a hearty HELL YEAH! The first episode seemed familar enough. Private academy with customary steps, unapproachable super-loved sempai, a girl with self-confidence issues, with repeated self-deprecating claims. Yes, a cheerfully sappy, emotional shoujo-ai story.
Where the hell did the mecha come from?

You’re not a nuisance already!

Yes, my one complaint of the show is that they got mecha in my shoujo ai. If you can ignore the mecha, however, it’s quite a touching and emotional story. (Of course, if you want a touching and emotional shoujo ai story -without- mecha, I recommend Strawberry Panic)
It’s Kannazuki no Miko with a Z, dangit.
I desire a link to this AMV.
That is all.
mm.. Strawberry Panic…
Shoujo-ai + mecha == win.
I must watch this show now.
I’ve heard that it’s good!

gah, OpenID ate my comment. Anyways, look up Kyoushirou to Towa no Sora, airing this January, based on a manga by the same author as Kannazuki, with some very similar character designs.
i saw about 8 episodes of it and man is it great.
