xhtml quirks mode
I’ve spent a great deal of time today banging my head against a strange quirk (for lack of a better term) in Firefox’s Quirks Mode automagical detection.
Two servers, same document, Firefox renders in Standards Complient Mode from one, Quirks Mode in the other.
Made the following change to the <html> tag:
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
But that’s not supposed to affect the way quirks mode kicks in. Agr. Must read more specs.
