SSX3 isn’t Tricky, that much is certain. However, I think the creators of my favourite snowboarding game have captured its essence in the sequal. The hill design is reminicent of Tricky’s Untracked, with its wide expanse of fresh powder, and gentle sweeping hills. Rails are, in general, far easier to ride. Overall SSX3’s atmosphere is far less cartoony than Tricky.
