		<description>Maybe you&#039;re right. In this entire class no-one mentioned that everything we were doing showcased Java&#039;s dark side.

I still think everything&#039;s-an-object sucks though. I&#039;d rather take direct memory access anyday.</description>

Java is actually a remarkably awesome language, when it&#039;s used for what it&#039;s intended for. It sucks on the desktop, but really rocks on the server side. Witness the huge number of commercial Java application servers, banking systems etc.
