Geeks and Nerd and Dorks oh my!
The geek observes that never a dork be (though commonly used jestingly by friendlier associates), and only a nerd in eyes of gradeschool deliquints. They’re probably jealous. The geek be proud, and (hopefully) capable, lacking (most of) the essential social failings so commonly found in dork- or nerd-dom. Geeks are obsessive, and truely attentive to detail. Anally, maybe. Hackerdom and geekhood are not entirely dissimilar, though I’m currently ill equipped to determine if one is a subset of the other. Geeks have been known to hack languages, be it japanese or perl. Some hack music. In Soviet Russia, Hikari hacks you!
- Obsessive.
- A lot of it has to do with my perception of the world.
- Anime-liking does not cause the geek, but anime appeals to geekhood.
- I know about blogs, xml, and css because I met a cute girl who blogged.
- This is an ordered list.
- Kuu, Reki, Kana, Hikari. Welcome to the Old Home, enjoy your stay.
