Catching Firefly

At the persistent insistence of my compadres, I obtained and watched all 14 episodes of Firefly. It left me wanting more. More action, more answers. Development of Shepard Book’s backstory, development of River’s future. Some relational happiness for Kaylee the earthy feminine greasemonkey. Yup, the wild west, where win32 runs the trash cans.

I’d hope that some of these answers are present in Serenity, which Google has been retaining schedule information about. I wish I had that much data to mine. If anyone’s going to break the natural language, it’s our daticulate overlords.

Edit: And apparently there’s a thriving Firefly filk community out there. This filk of One Week has no spoilers, and several dozen sci-fi/anime references.
