XplorNet Customer Service Found Lacking

XplorNet wireless highspeed internet service is anything but. It certainly is fast, but it’s not internet. It’s more like an packet blackhole, a nice place to loose data.
The service is rock solid stable at night, but fails intermittently throughout the day. I have not determined whether this is due to changes in EMF radiation over [...]

Das Keyboard

Ph00tbag links to the Das Keyboard, 80 dollars of generic usb keyboard, with an added twist: No characters on the keycaps. An unlabled design is something I enjoy, in particular the mystique it lends to a control surface. This isn’t really going to work with normal generic interfaces like a 104-key pc keyboard, but it’s [...]

Gibraltar Rock Climbing

Scaled some walls with Chris, Trav and Jen today, at the Gibraltar rock climbing facility in Windsor. Tore up my hands some, which made operating power windows somewhat difficult, typing doubly so. Bought a month pass for 60$CAD. I plan to venture unto thse pebbly slopes once each week.

SSX3

pollen implanted,

gentle white caress,

Strangely Fedora

It has come to pass. Shannon is now running Fedora Core 3 on her desktop, Bender. I help but notice that she hasn’t blogged about it, that sly fox. Hopefully she’ll get the ATIMach64 working for her second head soon, lest she be driven inane for lack of screen real-estate.
FC3’s X.org had an interesting habit [...]
