Rachan and Rob drove over from Michigan today. Rachan was primarily interested in seeing Canada in person, having never done so before, and figured she’d drop by my place, since she was in the neighborhood. (Garran would have been a much funner choice, but the company was nice.)
Talking to these two fine people is always fun, despite their inability to conclusively decide upon anything. =)
We spent some time talking adhocly about MT, forums, and general fanhood for a handful of hours, with AMVs as background noise, before departing for pizza. I’ve never had grilled eggplant on a pizza before: I’m really glad that Rachel introduced us.
We watched Avalon, and proceeded to dissect it in a method reminiscent of the Megatokyo Forums discussions. Me thinks we all need a good ole discussion.
They departed some 15 minutes ago enroute for Rob’s place in Michigan, with Ooklah’s present in tow. I’m really glad to have spent some time socializing with them.
