The Windsor-Essex Chapter of the Professions Engeneers of Ontario:
An annual award is presented to a University of Windsor student who has completed Level 3 of any program in the Faculty of Engineering with a good academic record and who has shown outstanding ability in non- engineering courses. The Essex County Chapter of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario established the award in 1963. Reverend E.C. Lebel was the first President of the then new non-denominational University of Windsor from 1963 to 1964. The recipient of the Reverend E. C. LeBel Award for 2003-2004 is Matthew Meloche.
