Anti Comment Spam

After receiving 28 pieces of comment spam from random (spoofed) ips in the span of 20 minutes, I decided to rename my comments-post.php file, leaving a dummy in its place. However, the spambot found the changed url via the actual blog posts’ comment forms, and navigated to it successfully.

I noticed that the spambot was not filling in the Referrer, so I am now dropping comments from anyone missing this data.

Hopefully they will go away.
